Molten Core Swimteam

Who we are
Molten Core Swimteam is a newly formed guild on the Exodar server. Our goal is to clear the available content and have a good time while doing so. We have a solid group of leaders who together have experience in all aspects of the game. We realize that players put a lot of effort into raiding and we want to turn that effort into success.

Raid Schedule
Monday - Thursday
8:00 - 11:00 PM EST

We will run 10 mans and other raids on offnights, but these are not, and will never be, required

What we are looking for
We are looking for like-minded players who want to progress and be competitive.

We want our members to be comfortable with going after achievements. We will attempt hardmodes, but we will never waste the guilds time on an encounter that is out of our reach. This means we will not spend hours wiping on a hardmode. We are more than willing to attempt them, but we will not continue to run our face into a wall. We are looking for people with great situational awareness. We want people who know how to move out of fire. If you die often due to a lack of knowing what is going on around you, expect to be replaced.

If you make a mistake, it is ok. We understand that things can go wrong, we do not expect perfection. What we do expect is accountability. Accept your mistakes, do not deny them. We will not make fun of you or insult you due to errors you make, but we want you to be aware of them so that you may correct them. We put a lot of effort into the guild and will require our members to do the same. Everyone should give 100% no matter what. When you stop trying is when we start looking for a replacement.

We expect everyone to know their class/spec inside and out. Be up-to-date with changes for your class. We do not require you to have an offspec that will be used in raids, but understand that you will be unable to receive offspec loot if that is the case. Those who are willing to have an offspec that might be called upon for a raid will be the ones eligible for offspec loot.

Will we listen to your ideas, complaints or concerns? Yes. Will we allow you to openly insult members or the guild itself? No. The officers have an open door policy, but we require you to respect the guild and its members. If you have any problems or concerns, bring them to an officer. If you are not willing to do this, we are not the guild for you.

We expect everyone to be able to attend every raid. We understand that things come up from time to time. Missing one raid day out of one raid week is acceptable as long as it does not become a habit. We are looking for people who want to raid on our scheduled days and at our scheduled times. If you plan to miss often, please do not apply. If you have regular scheduling conflicts (IE: Can’t raid on Tuesdays, Can’t raid past 10:30 PM, Will be 30 minutes late on Wednesday and Thursday, etc), please do not apply. This would be a waste of our time and yours.

You must have DBM installed and enabled. You must have Ventrilo installed and logon to it during raids. We also require that you have a working microphone and are comfortable with speaking on vent when it is needed. No exceptions.
